Good news on the roof project!

You may have noticed some extra equipment and materials on the church property recently – the roofing materials arrived last week and work began on the roof replacement project!

Work will not affect Saturday and Sunday Masses, however, weekday Masses and Tuesday rosary will be held in the Rectory (the side door on Father’s house will be open) while the work in being completed.

The contractors were unable to give us a projected completion date for the project so please check back on the website for updates on when all Masses will return to being held in the church.

Fun fact: construction/installation is the second last stage in a project, and there is a lot of work that must be completed before that, such as evaluation and selection of alternatives, selection of contractor, material purchasing, and scheduling and planning. Thank you to all parishioners for your financial contributions towards the roofing replacement project and for your patience throughout this project. And thank you especially to our Parish Council who have been behind the scenes doing the evaluation and planning work for this project. Let us give thanks that this necessary roof replacement will be completed soon!
