CWL: Prayerfully consider your membership

First and foremost, the League wants to thank you for your continued support to our Council. Without you, our League wouldn’t be able to continue with good works in our parish and community, and supporting one another spiritually and in so many other ways.

This time of year is our membership campaign and we would like to invite all ladies to join this great organization of faith-filled women. We are also currently looking for 3 members to fill leadership roles in each of the three pillars of the CWL (or these could be co-chaired): Faith, Social Justice and Service.

What do we do? We will continue, with your support, to serve our church, pray for people in need, be with our sisters in times of mourning or whatever challenges they may be facing as well as celebrate times of joy together, provide financial support locally and internationally to other organizations and people in need, and also to socialize and have fun. Above all, spiritual connections are very important and this is something we prioritize in the League: God is the centre of all we do, with Our Lady of Good Counsel as our Patroness.

You are invited to attend our meetings, conventions, workshops, retreats and social evenings to learn what we stand for (our goals and objectives) and get to know your neighbours. We will also have tables set up to ask questions or fill in a membership form after Mass on January 28 and February 4. Membership is $25 for the year.
