Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

The first reading for this Sunday comes from 2 Samuel 12:7-10, 13 (the prophet Nathan is admonishing King David following the King’s attempt to cover up his affair with Bathsheba by murdering her husband), the responsorial Psalm is 32 (Lord, forgive the wrong I have done), the second reading is from St. Paul’s letter to the Galatians 2:16, 19-21 (“I have been crucified with Christ, yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me”), and the Gospel is Luke 7:36-8:3 (a woman of ill repute washes Jesus feet with her tears and dries them with her hair).

The full text of the readings is available on the USCCB website, which you can read by clicking here.
